Kentston Cripe, DPM

Kentston Cripe, DPM

Dr. Kentston Cripe grew up in Roseville, CA playing competitive baseball and high school football. He developed an interest in medicine and surgery in high school and began volunteering at Sutter Roseville Medical Center where he decided to pursue a career in medicine.

He earned his bachelor of science degree in biochemistry at Sacramento State University in 2015. During this time, his father underwent reconstructive foot surgery and Dr. Cripe began shadowing local podiatrists where he decided to pursue podiatry. He then earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. While in school he served as class president and was a student board member for both the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the American Association for Women Podiatrists (AAWP).

He then completed a general surgery internship alongside his MD and DO colleagues obtaining certification in Advanced Cardiac and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He went on to finish residency in podiatric medicine and surgery with additional training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at the Maricopa county hospital in Phoenix, AZ (now Valleywise Health Medical Center) through Creighton University. Dr. Cripe has recently moved back to Northern California with his wife, Sarah after graduating from his residency program in June, 2022.

Dr. Cripe is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ACFAS) and is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) with pending certification by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM)

In his free time, he enjoys cooking (Sarah is a Registered Dietitian), travel, backpacking, fly fishing, landscape photography, watching TV shows, playing video games, and road/mountain biking.
